G. K. Chesterton: It's Not Gay and It's Not Marriage : Crisis Magazine
Dale Ahlquist, to whom we are in great debt for keeping G. K. Chesterton alive, wrote this extremely quotable and profound piece at Crisis Magazine last week. Here's the opening paragraph:
One of the pressing issues of Chesterton’s time was “birth control.” He not only objected to the idea, he objected to the very term because it meant the opposite of what it said. It meant no birth and no control. I can only imagine he would have the same objections about “gay marriage.” The idea is wrong, but so is the name. It is not gay and it is not marriage. To read the whole essay, click on the below link:

Sharyl Attkisson: Obama-era Surveillance Timeline
You can find many timelines that follow allegations of Russia tampering in the U.S. election and alleged involvement of Trump officials. But I couldn’t find any comprehensive timelines cross-referencing Obama-era surveillance of whistleblowers, journalists and other U.S. citizens with Russia surveillance allegations. So I built one. Please note: temporal proximity of events doesn’t necessarily imply a connection.

From Catholic World Report: How do we teach Beauty?
A recent post on Catholic World Report by Dale Ahlquist discussed The Chesterton Academy and the priority and importance of teaching Beauty to students. The post included the following quote from G. K. Chesterton:
Chesterton says, “Wherever men are happy, they will build beautiful things.” The modern world is ugly because we are unhappy. The modern world is ugly because we do not love the modern world. You can access the post by clicking on the below link:
