Caroline Glick:U.S. Embassy Attacks Not About a Movie
To read the rest of the article, click the link below:Here are a couple of facts:On June 4 the White House confirmed that the US had killed Abu Yahya Al-Libi - OBL's Libyan lietenant who had moved into Al Qaeda's #2 spot after Ayman Zahawiri after the Navy SEALs whacked OBL.On Tuesday 9/11, a tape was released of Zawahiri announcing that Libi had been killed earlier this year by a US drone attack. The Zawahiri tape was made during Ramadan which ended in the middle of last month. Zawahiri called for his terrorist underlings to avenge Libi's death and especially exhorted Libyans to take revenge. The attack in Libya was well planned and executed. It wasn't about a spontaneous protest against some ridiculous internet movie of Muhammad. The assailants came armed to the teeth, with among other things, RPG 7s. They knew that the US Ambassador was in Benghazi rather than Tripoli. They knew how to track his movements, and were able to strike against him after he and his colleagues left the consulate building and tried to flee in a car. As Israel Channel 2's Arab Affairs Correspondent Ehud Yaari noted this evening, you don't often see well trained terrorists participating in protests of movies. Then there is the attack in Cairo. They were led by Mohammad Zawahiri - Ayman Zawahiri's brother. According the Thomas Josclyn in the Weekly Standard, the US media has been idiotically presenting him as some sort of moderate despite the fact that in an interview with Al Jazeerah he said said, "We in al Qaeda..."

Caroline Glick: Media Bias in Israel
Caroline Glick, who specializes in satirical depictions of the Israeli Left and others in sympathy with them, posted this video on Tribal Update. It's titled: "If settlements are legal, then Israel must be breaking the law." This could remind you of the type of coverage of the news by the cast at MSNBC.

"Zionism is Synonymous with Feminism"
The feminist groups are not standing up for Israel, because they are about as far Left as any group can be, and they simply don't like a nation such as Israel because she does not support their Leftist agenda. Feminists everywhere will have no credibility until they have the courage to stand up against the treatment of women in Muslim countries. Why do they condemn Israel for its treatment of women while they ignore the way the rest of the Middle East treats women? Where are the feminist groups on these issues? Why are they not standing up for Israel?
The above video was forwarded by E-Mail today from a group called "Synonymous."
Here's a copy of the E-Mail:

Caroline Glick: "Mohamed Merah - Man of the West"
Caroline Glick writes deeply about the massacre last week in Toulouse, France. Pictured above are the victims of the jihadist killer: Rabbi Jonathan Sandler and his two little boys (three-year-old Gavriel and six-year-old Aryeh), and eight-year-old student, Miriam Monsonego.
She compares the handling of this massacre with the handling of two similar massacres here in the United States: the killing of 13 US servicemen at Ft. Hood in 2009, and the attack at the Seattle Jewish Federation building in 2006.
She lays blame for these events not only on the perpetrators of the massacres but also on the "depraved silence, indifference and complicity of Western elites with their jihadist aims."
This piece is a MUST READ for those interested in coming to a fuller understanding of the absolute evil of radical Islam and the fear and failure of the rest of the world to confront it.

Caroline Glick: "The Story of Obama and Israel"
Caroline Glick, Israel's Iron Lady posted this on her Blog yesterday along with some background as to who made the video - and why.
A few weeks ago the Obama administration put out a video extolling Obama's record on Israel. They took excerpts from speeches by Israeli leaders praising Obama and used them as proof that Israelis view Obama is a great friend of the Jewish state. On the whole it was an obscene production. What can Binyamin Netanyahu or any other Israeli official say other than that Obama is a great friend of Israel? We have to face the dismal fact that Obama may remain in the White House until 2017. No Israeli official can afford to say openly what they think of this man.
So, Bill Kristol, Gary Bauer and Rachel Abrams formed the Emergency Committee for Israel (ECI), which is a Super Pac authorized to run political advertisements. Because Obama has been calling himself "Israel's greatest friend ever," ECI decided to set the record straight and tell the truth about Obama's treatment of Israel. This video is how they chose to do it.

Caroline Glick Takes Aim at The Left
Caroline Glick, using her media website, Latma, and its hilarious satirical newscast , "The Tribal Update," has taken aim at three targets: Peace Now's Executive Director Yariv Googleheimer, the Israeli Supreme Court, and Noam Shalit, father of Gilad Shalit (who spent five years in Hamas captivity in Gaza), who is running for a place on the Israel Labor Party List for the next Knesset. How does the father of a victim of unadulterated hatred become (or stay) a Liberal?
The video is below. Notice that the translations are now being displayed long enough to read them, which is nice for those of us who do not speak Hebrew.

Gingrich: "Palestinians" are an "Invented People"
The below article is from Robert Spencer of Jihad Watch and is in praise of Newt Gingrich for having the courage to state facts that none of our other politicians would dare utter publicly.

Caroline Glick: "An Ally No More"
Caroline Glick has not trusted the Obama administration for some time, but her latest column in the Jerusalem Post, and on her Blog, sounds like she has no hope that the United States will support Israel until we have a change in Washington.
"With vote tallies in for Egypt's first round of parliamentary elections in it is abundantly clear that Egypt is on the fast track to becoming a totalitarian Islamic state. The first round of voting took place in Egypt's most liberal, cosmopolitan cities. And still the Muslim Brotherhood and the Salafists received more than 60 percent of the vote. Run-off elections for 52 seats will by all estimates increase their representation.
"Rather than warn Egypt that it will face severe consequences if it completes its Islamist transformation, the Obama administration has turned its guns on the first country that will pay a price for Egypt's Islamic revolution: Israel.
"Speaking at the annual policy conclave in Washington sponsored by the leftist Brookings Institute's Saban Center for Middle East Policy, US Defense Secretary Leon Panetta and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton hammered Israel, the only real ally the US has left in the Middle East after Mubarak's fall. Clinton felt it necessary - in the name of democracy - to embrace the positions of Israel's radical Left against the majority of Israelis.
"The same Secretary of State that has heralded negotiations with the violent, fanatical misogynists of the Taliban; who has extolled Saudi Arabia where women are given ten lashes for driving, and whose State Department trained female-hating Muslim Brotherhood operatives in the lead-up to the current elections in Egypt accused Israel of repressing women's rights. The only state in the region where women are given full rights and legal protections became the focus of Clinton's righteous feminist wrath.
"There is little qualitative difference between accusing Israeli society of destroying democracy for seeking to defend itself against foreign political subversion, and accusing Jews of destroying morality for failing to embrace foreign religious faiths.
"...Under President Obama, the US government has become hostile to Israel's national rights and strategic imperatives. Under Obama, the US is no longer Israel's ally."

"She submitted the ad above to CBS Outdoor/NY Transit to run on NY subway cars.
"Go to Atlas Shrugs to help her finance this effort. In the event that the ad is rejected, she will sue and you are invited to join her."

The Islamization of Turkey III
Caroline Glick, Israel's Iron Lady, points out how Turkey is once again trying to ingratiate herself with the Islamic world. Prime Minister Erdogan has practically neutered the military that has, since the days of Ataturk, been charged with maintaining the secular government of the country, and he continues to move the country closer and closer to an Islamic Republic. That's bad news for our closest ally in that part of the world, and bad news for us.
Listen to Turkey's latest unprovoked attempt to embarrass the Israelis for no apparent reason:
"Monday morning Turkey took its anti-Israel campaign to a new level. Beyond downgrading diplomatic relations with Israel; beyond suspending military agreements; beyond threatening naval war; beyond threatening to foment an irredentist insurrection of Israeli Arabs; the Turks decided to terrorize Israeli tourists landing in Istanbul airport.
"Forty Israeli passengers, mainly businessmen who had landed in Istanbul on a Turkish Airlines flight from Tel Aviv, were separated from the rest of the flight passengers. Their passports were confiscated.
"They were placed in interrogation rooms and stripped down to their underwear. Their carry-on bags were checked. And then they were lined up against a wall, forbidden to sit down or use the washroom.
"Passengers who contacted the Foreign Ministry said they felt frightened and intimidated.
"The ordeal went on for 90 minutes, until Turkish authorities returned their Israeli passports and permitted them to pick up their suitcases and exit the airport."

Israel's Only Two Options
Judea and Samaria Area is the official Israeli term roughly corresponding to the area usually known outside Israel as the West Bank; it also includes the Israeli settlements there that are not governed as part of Jerusalem.
Caroline Glick is convinced, in the face of the Palestinian bid to sidestep negotiations with Israel and have the UN General Assembly recognize Palestinian sovereignty over Judea, Samaria and Jerusalem in addition to Gaza, that there are only two options for Israel: (1) Either the Palestinians will take control of Judea and Samaria, or (2) Israel will annex them.
She's further convinced (and who would argue with her?) that "If the Palestinians take control, they will establish a terror state in the areas, which - like their terror state in Gaza - will use its territory as a starting point for continued war against Israel."
Every day gets a little scarier for the only democracy in the Middle East - especially since she appears to be all but abandoned by her former best friend in the West.

Caroline Glick: The Iranian Threat
Those of us who were confident in the belief that Israel, in the absence of positive action by our current administration, would take matters into her own hands and do to Iran's nuclear ambitions what she did to those of Iraq, on June 7, 1981 (in Operation Babylon) , and to those of Syria, on September 6, 2007 (in Operation Orchard), have reason for concern, according to Caroline Glick.
This is from her column of July 5, Israel's palace coup plotters:
Since the beginning of his first term as prime minister 15 years ago, Binyamin Netanyahu has consistently warned that the greatest dangers Israel faces stem from the forces of global jihad generally and the Iranian regime and its nuclear program specifically. After taking office for the second time in 2009, Netanyahu made blocking Iran's rise to nuclear power his top priority. He ordered the heads of the Mossad and the IDF to prepare plans to attack Iran's nuclear installations.
Last Friday, Haaretz reported that former Mossad chief Meir Dagan and former IDF chief of General Staff Lt.-Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi refused to obey his order. Rather than prepare strike plans, Dagan and Ashkenazi warned that such a strike would foment a regional war. That is, rather than do their jobs, they made excuses for failing to fulfill their duty to obey Israel's elected leadership.
The Left in Israel is, if anything, more brazen than their counterparts here in the U.S., and they seem wedded to the belief that no action in the face of real and imminent danger is the best policy. Caroline Glick's article reads like a fictional novel of intrigue. Would that it were. Click below to read it all.

Caroline Glick: Warning Bells from Gates
Caroline Glick writes about an interview soon-to-be former Secretary of Defense Robert Gates had with Newsweek this past weekend (emphasis added):
In Gates' words, "I've spent my entire adult life with the United States as a superpower, and one that had no compunction about spending what it took to sustain that position. It didn't have to look over its shoulder because our economy was so strong. This is a different time.
"To tell you the truth, that's one of the many reasons it's time for me to retire, because frankly I can't imagine being part of a nation, part of a government... that's being forced to dramatically scale back our engagement with the rest of the world."
What Gates is effectively saying is not that economic forecasts are gloomy. US defense spending comprises less than five percent of the federal budget. If US President Barack Obama wanted to maintain that level of spending, the Republican-controlled Congress would probably pass his defense budget. What Gates is saying is that he doesn't trust his commander in chief to allocate the resources to preserve America's superpower status. He is saying that he believes that Obama is willing to surrender the US's status as a superpower."

Glick: Is BHO Retaliating Against Bibi?

Remember back on May 19th when Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu embarrassed President Obama in the White House by stating unequivocally during their joint press conference that Israel would not agree to return to their 1967 borders as Obama had practically demanded the day before? Of course, Obama attempted to walk back his demands in a May 22nd speech before AIPAC, but his original remarks were much clearer. Well, according to Israel's Iron Lady, Caroline Glick, Obama might just be seeking revenge for that embarrassment by deliberately harming Israeli covert ops in Iran. That might sound a little over the top, but read her recent post and decide for yourself.

San Remo Resolution: Israel's "Magna Carta"

Surely not too many people are familiar with the 1920 San Remo Resolution, in which the world powers, after Wold War I, transferred exclusive legal rights to the Land of Israel to the Jewish people. If you're one of those people, please watch this short video from a conference last year in San Remo marking the 90th anniversary of the original San Remo Conference. The video was posted today by Caroline Glick on her website.

Caroline Glick: Obama's Abandonment of America
Caroline Glick is having none of the fancy rhetoric spewed forth from the POTUS teleprompter yesterday. Obama's speech helped her recover quickly from being sick enough to miss her regular column for The Jerusalem Post. It's a wonder it didn't make her a lot sicker.
Here's a small clip, but please read the whole article; it's not long.
Obama went on to say that the Arabs have good reason to hate the US and that it is up to the US to put its national interests aside in the interest of making them like America. As he put it, "a failure to change our approach threatens a deepening spiral of division between the United States and Muslim communities."
And you know what that means. If the US doesn't end the "spiral of division," (sounds sort of like "spiral of violence" doesn't it?), then the Muslims will come after America. So the US better straighten up and fly right.
And how does it do that? Well, by courting the Muslim Brotherhood which spawned Al Qaeda, Hamas, Jamma Islamiya and a number of other terror groups and is allies with Hezbollah.

Caroline Glick: The Fogel Family Massacre
From Caroline Glick:
It took Youtube and Facebook all of two hours to remove this film. Why?
Powerline Blog is also following Caroline Glick, and posted this about the massacre:
Since 1948, the Arabs and Israelis have fought five wars. None were provoked by Israel, but somehow the Left in our country has always been quick to condemn Israel for the lack of peace in the region. The massacre of the Fogel Family will not, you can be sure, receive much attention in the major media outlets here because it doesn't fit their story line, which is: those aggressive jews continue to refuse to allow the "Palestinians" to return to their "homeland." Thank God for the internet.
Sundays are for Beauty, but with apologies this one could not wait until Monday.
