Andy McCarthy, the brilliant former federal prosecutor who successfully prosecuted Omar Abdel-Rahman, the Blind Sheikh, for the 1993 bombing of the (now gone) World Trade Center, has published a three part article in National Review Online (NRO) in which he makes his case for treating terrorists as enemy combatants bent on destroying America rather than as criminals who have violated our criminal statutes.
