Charles Moore on Uncommon Knowledge: The Iron Lady

From the Uncommon Knowledge website:

One of Britain’s most distinguished journalists, Charles Moore is a former editor of the Daily Telegraph and Sunday Telegraph newspapers and of the Spectator magazine. Moore is also the authorized biographer of the Right Honorable Baroness Thatcher of Kesteven, better known as Margaret Thatcher.

Here is segment 1 of the five part interview of Charles Moore by Peter Robinson of The Hoover Institution.

You can find the other four parts of the Charles Moore interview on the Uncommon Knowledge website. His knowledge of Lady Thatcher is thorough as is his respect for her and her accomplishments. She did for Britain what Ronald Reagan did for us: restored a feeling of exceptionalism (and warded off socialism). Unfortunately the work of both has been all but undone, and both nations are crying out for the likes of "The Iron Lady" and "The Gipper."
