Sissel Kyrkjebø, who uses only her first name, Sissel, when performing, is a Norwegian soprano. She sang the Olympic Hymn at the opening and closing ceremonies of the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer, Norway, and has sung duets with: Placido Domingo, Jose Carreras, Bryn Terfel, and Diana Krall.
