"Zionism is Synonymous with Feminism"
The feminist groups are not standing up for Israel, because they are about as far Left as any group can be, and they simply don't like a nation such as Israel because she does not support their Leftist agenda. Feminists everywhere will have no credibility until they have the courage to stand up against the treatment of women in Muslim countries. Why do they condemn Israel for its treatment of women while they ignore the way the rest of the Middle East treats women? Where are the feminist groups on these issues? Why are they not standing up for Israel?
The above video was forwarded by E-Mail today from a group called "Synonymous."
Here's a copy of the E-Mail:

Caroline Glick: "The Story of Obama and Israel"
Caroline Glick, Israel's Iron Lady posted this on her Blog yesterday along with some background as to who made the video - and why.
A few weeks ago the Obama administration put out a video extolling Obama's record on Israel. They took excerpts from speeches by Israeli leaders praising Obama and used them as proof that Israelis view Obama is a great friend of the Jewish state. On the whole it was an obscene production. What can Binyamin Netanyahu or any other Israeli official say other than that Obama is a great friend of Israel? We have to face the dismal fact that Obama may remain in the White House until 2017. No Israeli official can afford to say openly what they think of this man.
So, Bill Kristol, Gary Bauer and Rachel Abrams formed the Emergency Committee for Israel (ECI), which is a Super Pac authorized to run political advertisements. Because Obama has been calling himself "Israel's greatest friend ever," ECI decided to set the record straight and tell the truth about Obama's treatment of Israel. This video is how they chose to do it.

Caroline Glick Takes Aim at The Left
Caroline Glick, using her media website, Latma, and its hilarious satirical newscast , "The Tribal Update," has taken aim at three targets: Peace Now's Executive Director Yariv Googleheimer, the Israeli Supreme Court, and Noam Shalit, father of Gilad Shalit (who spent five years in Hamas captivity in Gaza), who is running for a place on the Israel Labor Party List for the next Knesset. How does the father of a victim of unadulterated hatred become (or stay) a Liberal?
The video is below. Notice that the translations are now being displayed long enough to read them, which is nice for those of us who do not speak Hebrew.

Caroline Glick: "An Ally No More"
Caroline Glick has not trusted the Obama administration for some time, but her latest column in the Jerusalem Post, and on her Blog, sounds like she has no hope that the United States will support Israel until we have a change in Washington.
"With vote tallies in for Egypt's first round of parliamentary elections in it is abundantly clear that Egypt is on the fast track to becoming a totalitarian Islamic state. The first round of voting took place in Egypt's most liberal, cosmopolitan cities. And still the Muslim Brotherhood and the Salafists received more than 60 percent of the vote. Run-off elections for 52 seats will by all estimates increase their representation.
"Rather than warn Egypt that it will face severe consequences if it completes its Islamist transformation, the Obama administration has turned its guns on the first country that will pay a price for Egypt's Islamic revolution: Israel.
"Speaking at the annual policy conclave in Washington sponsored by the leftist Brookings Institute's Saban Center for Middle East Policy, US Defense Secretary Leon Panetta and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton hammered Israel, the only real ally the US has left in the Middle East after Mubarak's fall. Clinton felt it necessary - in the name of democracy - to embrace the positions of Israel's radical Left against the majority of Israelis.
"The same Secretary of State that has heralded negotiations with the violent, fanatical misogynists of the Taliban; who has extolled Saudi Arabia where women are given ten lashes for driving, and whose State Department trained female-hating Muslim Brotherhood operatives in the lead-up to the current elections in Egypt accused Israel of repressing women's rights. The only state in the region where women are given full rights and legal protections became the focus of Clinton's righteous feminist wrath.
"There is little qualitative difference between accusing Israeli society of destroying democracy for seeking to defend itself against foreign political subversion, and accusing Jews of destroying morality for failing to embrace foreign religious faiths.
"...Under President Obama, the US government has become hostile to Israel's national rights and strategic imperatives. Under Obama, the US is no longer Israel's ally."
There's much more in her piece, and you can read it all by clicking on the link below.

The Palestinian Myth is Just That - A Myth
Sol Stern writing at National Review Online today exposed the total myth of the plight of the Palestinians, who will try to set the Middle East on fire tomorrow by calling for a vote on Palestinian statehood.
Mahmoud Abbas, president of the Palestinian Authority, wrote an op-ed in the New York Times last May titled “The Long Overdue Palestinian State.”
From Stern (emphasis added):
In his Times op-ed, Abbas also wrote, “Minutes after the State of Israel was established on May 14, 1948, the United States granted it recognition. Our Palestinian state, however, remains a promise unfulfilled.” Abbas didn’t explain how any country could have recognized a United Nations–designated Palestinian state that the Palestinians and the Arab states themselves rejected. The Arab Higher Committee (AHC) was the recognized representative of the Palestinian people at the time of the U.N. partition vote. The Zionists accepted the partition plan. The AHC and the Arab states rejected any proposal to share the land and vowed to drown the fledgling Jewish state in “rivers of blood.”
Following instructions from the AHC, Palestinian militias and volunteers from neighboring Arab countries began attacking Jewish settlements after the U.N. partition plan was announced in November 1947. The irregular Arab units were ordered to take strategic strongholds and hold on until the expected invasion of Israel by regular Arab armies after the British withdrawal on May 14, 1948. What happened in Safed was typical of the bloody inter-communal warfare that soon convulsed the country. Elements of the Arab Liberation Army — the main Palestinian armed force — plus Jordanian irregular units, entered Safed’s Arab neighborhoods and began sporadic attacks on the Jewish quarter. Facing a full-scale invasion of Galilee by the Syrian and Jordanian regular armies, Jewish military commanders couldn’t afford to have armed Palestinian units behind their lines. On the night of May 8, reinforcements from the Palmach, the elite Jewish strike force, counterattacked and took the key Arab strongholds in the city. Almost immediately, Safed’s Arabs began streaming out toward the Syrian border. There were no expulsions of Arab civilians by Israeli forces.
The entire Sol Stern piece can be viewed by clicking on the link below:
The Palestinian Big Lie - Sol Stern - National Review Online
This should not be a tough vote for us (but it will be): if we vote for Palestinian statehood, the Obama administration will be continuing its sordid treatment of our greatest ally in the Middle East; if we vote against it, the other Arab nations will be furious and make all kinds of threats against Israel (and us). There's only one right thing to do: vote for truth.

"Egyptian PM: Peace deal with Israel not sacred." Uh Oh!
Looks like the first fruits from The Arab Spring are not good news for our friends in Israel. Robert Spencer posted this piece at Jihad Watch today. Here's part of it:
CAIRO - Egypt's Prime Minister Essam Sharaf said a peace deal with Israel was not "sacred" and could be changed for the benefit of peace or the region.
"The Camp David agreement is not a sacred thing and is always open to discussion with what would benefit the region and the case of fair peace ... and we could make a change if needed," he said in the interview.
Mustapha al-Sayyid, a professor of politics, said Sharaf's comments appeared to be aimed more at boosting Egyptian security on the border with Israel, rather than abrogating it altogether, but Spencer calls that "wishful thinking."

Israel's Only Two Options
Judea and Samaria Area is the official Israeli term roughly corresponding to the area usually known outside Israel as the West Bank; it also includes the Israeli settlements there that are not governed as part of Jerusalem.
Caroline Glick is convinced, in the face of the Palestinian bid to sidestep negotiations with Israel and have the UN General Assembly recognize Palestinian sovereignty over Judea, Samaria and Jerusalem in addition to Gaza, that there are only two options for Israel: (1) Either the Palestinians will take control of Judea and Samaria, or (2) Israel will annex them.
She's further convinced (and who would argue with her?) that "If the Palestinians take control, they will establish a terror state in the areas, which - like their terror state in Gaza - will use its territory as a starting point for continued war against Israel."
Every day gets a little scarier for the only democracy in the Middle East - especially since she appears to be all but abandoned by her former best friend in the West.

Glick: Is BHO Retaliating Against Bibi?

Remember back on May 19th when Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu embarrassed President Obama in the White House by stating unequivocally during their joint press conference that Israel would not agree to return to their 1967 borders as Obama had practically demanded the day before? Of course, Obama attempted to walk back his demands in a May 22nd speech before AIPAC, but his original remarks were much clearer. Well, according to Israel's Iron Lady, Caroline Glick, Obama might just be seeking revenge for that embarrassment by deliberately harming Israeli covert ops in Iran. That might sound a little over the top, but read her recent post and decide for yourself.

Andrew Klavan's One State Solution

Andrew Klavan, of PJTV and City Journal, has come up with the perfect solution for the age old Arab/Israeli conflict. He calls it his One State Solution, and I'm betting a majority of the women and persecuted Christians in the Muslim world would be all for it.

San Remo Resolution: Israel's "Magna Carta"

Surely not too many people are familiar with the 1920 San Remo Resolution, in which the world powers, after Wold War I, transferred exclusive legal rights to the Land of Israel to the Jewish people. If you're one of those people, please watch this short video from a conference last year in San Remo marking the 90th anniversary of the original San Remo Conference. The video was posted today by Caroline Glick on her website.
