Sundays are for Beauty - La Vie En Rose




“La Vie En Rose”, the lyrics for which were composed by the famous French songstress, Edith Piaf, was also the title of a movie produced in 2007, which is based loosely on the life of Piaf. The title translates literally to "Life in Pink." The music was written in 1946 by Louis Gugliemi, who also wrote “Cherry Pink and Apple Blossom White.” The song was made famous by Edith Piaf, but the English version by Louis Armstrong is a personal favorite.
