/ SAThe Military Association of Atheists and Free Thinkers has complained again about the erecting of a cross to honor a fallen Marine. The decision by Marine Commandant James Amos on the two crosses already in place at Camp Pendleton is pending at this writing, and, until that decision is made, the ten foot cross made by the buddies of L/Cpl Benjamin Schmidt will not be planted as planned on "Old Smokey," a mountain overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
