Johann Pachelbel (1653-1706) was a German Baroque composer, organist, and teacher, best known for the Canon in D, the only canon he wrote.
In this video, the "Voices of Music" perform Pachelbel's Canon in D on original instruments. Not only are they using the original instruments, they are also using the bowing techniques from the time of Pachelbel.
Even those who profess not to enjoy classical music have heard (probably at a wedding) this piece and have to admit to its beauty.
