The D. C. Opportunity Scholarship Program (DCOSP) has been covered on this Blog since Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL), the original duplicitous demagogue, first stripped its funding from the Omnibus Spending Bill last year. This is a travesty, and further proof that Democrats are more in sympathy with unions (especially the NEA) than they are with the idea of poor minority children obtaining a good education.
