The worst kept secret in the Obama administration is its plan to slap our country with a European Value Added Tax (VAT) to pay for its out-of-control spending. According to the Heritage Foundation, John McCain (who is running for an election against a strong Conservative) has thrown down the gauntlet to stymie this not-too-well-kept secret plan of the administration, and eighty-four other senators stood with McCain to at least indicate their opposition to a VAT.
