Daniel J. Mitchell, Senior Fellow at the CATO Institute, fired a broadside at Karl Rove on the Institute's Blog today. I always look forward to reading Rove's columns, and listening to him when he appears on various TV shows - and always trust him - but Mitchell's piece is hard to disparage. When Rove defends the profligate spending of George W. Bush, he will always risk being attacked by fiscal conservatives such as Daniel Mitchell.
