Welcome back to 1984.

Linda Douglas, the health reform communications director at the White House, needs your help. She recently sent out a notice on the White House website that ended: "If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov."

Anyone who isn't reminded of George Orwell's "1984" or the Hitler-Jugend by such tactics on the part of the White House is hopefully not considered a "likely voter" by Scott Rasmussen. This, frankly, is as scary as it gets, and should be considered a major scandal. Don't count on it, though, and don't expect to hear much about it in the main stream media. Now, if George Bush's White House had done this, there would be incessant calls for his impeachment in every major outlet.
