Sundays are for Beauty - Cinema Paradiso

Let's do two "Sundays are for Beauty" in a row with Ennio Morricone. This is another one of those haunting melodies for which he's famous. It's the theme from the movie: "Cinema Paradiso," which won an Academy Award for Best Foreign Film in 1990. If you listen to it twice, it will haunt you for a long time. See last week's "Sundays are for Beauty - Part 14" for more information on the musical accomplishments of Ennio Morricone. That's him, by the way, conducting the symphony orchestra in the video. He was born in 1928, on November 10th, the birthday of the United States Marine Corps. I knew there was something other than his beautiful music that I liked about this guy.
