On Friday, the volunteer dog handlers underwent training in the parking lot of the Millennium Hotel. The dog handlers, who guide the dogs and sleds to the start line, will, hopefully, keep the dogs from charging off until it's time for them to do so (at least that's what they're supposed to do). It was difficult to get good photos because there were so many trainees in the way.
