You can't tell from this great photo, but Karin Hendrickson of Chugiak is a real fox. She is shown here driving her team into Takotna yesterday. She's taking her 24 hour rest there. Hendrickson grew up in California and moved to Alaska in 2003 to run dogs. She said: "I sold my house and everything in it, quit my job and headed north." The rest could be interesting history.
