That's Bob and Vicki Lumpkins under the starting gate in Willow, and a shot of Vicki getting a little too close to an uninvited guest (under the tree) at her and Bob's Trail Guard position in Anchorage the day before. There's also a better shot of the uninvited guest should anybody be able to identify him (or her). Vicki also got a shot of Iditarider Dorothy Hamill (blue coat with an unidentified male), who desledded (just made it up) at the Lumpkins' Trail Guard position in Anchorage. Hamill was there to honor her friend Susan Butcher (see earlier post).
