Dr. Thomas Sowell is perhaps the clearest thinker we will ever see on social issues. He is a former professor of Economics, who has written seven books on the subject; I own three: Basic Economics, Applied Economics, and Economic Facts and Fallacies. His latest: The Housing Boom and Bust, his 43rd book, is another best seller. He is currently a scholar in residence at the Hoover Institution, Stanford University.
